MarketMates, an Australia-based brokerage startup, entered a crowded landscape where most firms struggled to stand out or build momentum. With a lean team and a fresh brand, they needed not only fast traction but also a repeatable system for turning traffic into funded accounts. Valiant partnered with them to build the full marketing foundation, from paid social to conversion funnels and sales assets, designed to take MarketMates from an ambitious newcomer to a player with a clear path to scale.
When MarketMates partnered with Valiant, they were still a small player with big ambitions but limited infrastructure. Their website lacked a clear funnel to convert visitors into active traders. Their messaging didn’t differentiate them from the dozens of cookie-cutter brokerages fighting for the same audience. Paid acquisition was untested, and their email marketing was almost nonexistent—meaning no system to nurture leads or re-engage users. Without a cohesive digital strategy, MarketMates risked blending into the noise of an already crowded market.

Valiant’s work with MarketMates started by building a foundation that could scale. The first step was a complete overhaul of their website. What had previously been a static page was rebuilt into a full funnel designed to convert interest into sign-ups. Every section of the new site was intentional. The top fold immediately established credibility, while mid-page modules educated visitors on how MarketMates worked, what set it apart from competitors, and why traders could trust the platform. Proof points, testimonials, and clear examples of success gave prospects confidence. Calls-to-action were strategically placed throughout the page so visitors were never left wondering what to do next.

To tie it all together, we created a high-converting Video Sales Letter that explained MarketMates’ value in simple, persuasive terms. This became the centerpiece of the funnel, ensuring that traffic arriving from any channel was not just browsing but was being moved toward action.

Finally, we built and managed a paid advertising system to scale new acquisition. Social and search campaigns were carefully structured to focus on the right audiences instead of chasing cheap clicks. Prospecting campaigns targeted traders actively looking for brokerage solutions, while educational creatives introduced MarketMates to audiences who might not yet have known the brand. At the same time, retargeting captured anyone who had visited the site, engaged with social content, or signed up but failed to activate. Ad creatives leaned on credibility, education, and proof of results, showing both the professionalism of the platform and the success of its users. Testing cycles were constant, with creative, targeting, and messaging refined week by week.
The entire collaboration was hands-on. We worked closely with the MarketMates team on strategy calls, provided daily feedback loops on copy and creative, and iterated quickly to stay aligned with performance data. The end result was not just a set of campaigns but a complete growth system. MarketMates went from a static landing page and sporadic outreach to a polished website, a structured lifecycle email program, and a paid acquisition engine that worked together seamlessly.
