Transforming
Wealth Group
Wealth Group is a U.S.-based crypto trading community with thousands of paying members, widely recognized as the number one group on Whop and backed by years of proven transparency. Competing in an industry full of fly-by-night gurus and short-lived groups, Wealth Group set out to position itself not just as another signal provider, but as the cultural hub of crypto. Their vision was ambitious: become the Barstool Sports of crypto while building a scalable engine for long-term member acquisition, retention, and credibility.
Wealth Group had already built a reputation as the #1 crypto community on Whop, with over 3,000 paying members and thousands more in their wider ecosystem. But growth was stalling. The brand relied too heavily on Twitter buzz, affiliates, and waitlist scarcity to fuel acquisition. Messaging was fragmented, and their website didn’t reflect their dominance in the space. Despite thousands of positive reviews, new members often churned quickly without realizing the full value of the group. Wealth Group needed a structured, multi-channel growth engine: one that would scale acquisition, build retention, and present them as the cultural center of crypto education and signals—the “Barstool Sports of Crypto.”

When Wealth Group came to Valiant, they were already the number one crypto community on Whop, but their growth systems didn’t match the scale of their ambition. The brand was riding on exclusivity, word of mouth, and the credibility of CryptoGodJohn, but that model was starting to cap out. To break through 3,000 paying members and build a path toward 5,000+, they needed a complete acquisition and retention machine, one that didn’t rely on hype cycles or a single influencer to keep momentum alive.
Our first focus was short-form video. Wealth Group had been posting inconsistently, with no clear content rhythm, so we replaced that with a 30-videos-per-month calendar across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Each piece was scripted and shot to tie back to the funnel. Challenge-driven series like the ongoing “$1K to $10K” runs became storylines that fans could follow week to week. Reaction content connected directly to trending market news, turning volatility into shareable moments. Humor and parody-style skits took aim at crypto scammers and fake gurus, reinforcing Wealth Group’s position as the authentic, no-BS community. In the first 90 days this new system produced hundreds of thousands of impressions, thousands of comments and shares, and a steady flow of new members into Discord and the paid community.

While content was building the front-end funnel, email became the engine for retention. Wealth Group’s list of more than 140,000 was barely being used when we stepped in. We segmented it into free users, paid subscribers, churned members, and high-value cohorts, then built lifecycle journeys around each group. Welcome flows showed new members how to get value from day one. Reminder campaigns pushed traffic into livestreams and courses. Cancellation journeys gave members save offers and a clear picture of what they’d lose if they left. Reactivation pushes highlighted community wins and market opportunities to bring churned members back. And loyalty campaigns rewarded long-term subscribers while reinforcing the idea that Wealth Group was more than just signals, it was a network. In two reporting cycles open rates stabilized between 20 and 25 percent, with thousands of clicks per campaign, proving email could become a dependable re-engagement lever instead of an afterthought.

We didn’t stop there. To extend reach, we launched paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and Google. Our creative testing leaned on the same themes that worked organically: transparent results, trader lifestyle, and community proof. FOMO-style hooks (“Don’t miss the next big move”) ran alongside testimonial-style content that showed real members winning. Retargeting campaigns focused on free Discord users and churned members, while prospecting targeted high-intent crypto audiences across major platforms. Early campaigns returned 1.8x to 2x ROAS while spend passed $2,000 per channel, validating the system and setting the stage to scale heading into bigger market cycles.

By targeting high-intent crypto audiences and retargeting churned members, we drove profitable conversions that extended beyond the waitlist funnel.
Together, these systems transformed Wealth Group’s growth trajectory. Instead of relying on word of mouth and exclusivity alone, they now had a repeatable acquisition, engagement, and retention machine, one that could support their ambition to become the “Barstool Sports of Crypto.”
A major milestone was the launch of wealthgroup.ai, the new website we designed and developed. Instead of looking like just another Discord link, Wealth Group now had a polished, premium digital home that reflected its status as the market leader. The site showcased testimonials, live proof, trader tools, and a clean funnel that guided prospects from curiosity to conversion. It gave the brand credibility outside of Whop, positioned them as the “Barstool Sports of Crypto,” and gave their campaigns a destination that could actually convert at scale.

By the end of the first stretch, Wealth Group wasn’t just the biggest crypto community on Whop, it was a brand with a sustainable growth engine. Every channel worked together. Short-form video fed the funnel. Email kept members engaged and reduced churn. Paid acquisition brought in high-intent sign-ups. And the new site tied the entire journey together. The result was not just short-term growth, but the infrastructure to push past 5,000 paying members and define what the future of crypto communities should look like.
